Sheefa's Fir Honeydew Honey is sure to captivate one with its opulent, dark resinous color and subtle reddish hues. This honey carries a flavorful resemblance to figs and raisins, along with woodsy notes. Raw Fir Honeydew Honey is the perfect addition to any meat marinade for your weekend barbecue and pairs exceptionally well with mint leaves.
Fir Honeydew Honey is one of the rarest honeys in America, if not the world. In the US, it can only be found in the Sierra Nevada mountains of California and is the result of bees consuming the sap of the Fir tree, as opposed to nectar from flowers. These bees consume the sap of fir trees rather than the nectar from blossoms, making our Fir honeydew honey the rarest and thickest honey in the collection.
Fir Honeydew caters towards the honey connoisseur who enjoys a thick, robust, densely aromatic honey. Raw honey with natural sugar, pollen, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, Sheefa aims to fulfill two promises to our customers: 1) Our honey is 100% raw with no artificial additives, and 2) all of our honey is harvested locally in California.
Crystallization note: Raw honey naturally crystallizes as a method of self-preservation. Crystallized honey can easily be returned to its fluid state by leaving out in direct sunlight for 1-2 hours or soaking in a bath of warm water. WARNING: Not to be consumed by infants under 1 year of age.
One 16-ounce jar of Raw Fir Honeydew Honey.
